I’m Marita Calderón and I recognize myself as a multitasking animal. As such, I do intersectional research while studying for an MSc. in Environmental Governance at Freiburg University. A fervent advocate for all animals, I seek to explore the intersections between feminism, decolonizing, animal rights, and climate justice. With a background in strategic communications for social change, campaigns, and facilitation for human and nature rights in the Abya Yala region, my mission is to blend creative storytelling and research.
My topic is "The hidden sad truth behind animal agriculture and how you can make a difference!" because it has a perfect match with my passion for finding pathways for sustainability and working with holistic perspectives. I can't wait to inspire students through Grenzenlos/WUS!
