I am Obed Nii Amarteifio, a Ghanaian postgraduate scholar pursuing a Master's degree in Wood Technology at the Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, Germany. My academic and professional interests lie in the timber industry, with a deep commitment to sustainable wood production, forest-based development, and environmental conversation.
Guided by a passion for innovation and sustainability, My research centers on the responsible consumption and production of wood align with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12, with global sustainability goals and the principles of the Grenzenlos project. My work explores strategies for enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of timber utilization, while promoting value addition and responsible management of forest resources.
With a vision to contribute to the modernization and sustainability of the timber sector, My combines scientific knowledge, technical competence, and entrepreneurial insight to address critical challenges in wood technology and industrial practice. My long-term ambition is to play a key role in fostering a sustainable, innovative, and environmentally conscious timber industry that supports both economic growth and ecological balance.
What draws me most to the Grenzenlos program is its commitment to cross-cultural learning, knowledge exchange, and sustainable global development. The initiative’s focus on fostering collaboration between students and institutions across borders perfectly aligns with my belief that sustainability is a shared responsibility that transcends geography.
