Climate and Migration - Who's responsible?
Climate and Migration - Who's responsible?
Climate change threatens the livelihoods of many people. Desertification, tidal waves, coastal salinisation, sea level rise, storms and other extreme weather events are consequences of climate change that threaten millions of people around the world. Therefore, for people who are particularly affected by the negative effects of global warming, migration is an adaptation strategy. Under Goal 13.1 "Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related hazards and natural disasters in all countries", the workshop will analyse strategies and projects put into practice.
