Information meeting at the University Mother Tereza

Skopje, June 23rd, 2022. An in-person information day at University of Mother Teresa in Skopje was organized at short notice, which was attended by 12 students who were very interested. During the info day, Head of the Career Center, Mr Ilir Idrizi, was met and had in depth discussions on how to proceed with the program, having in mind short notice for realisation of the program and a high interest from the students. The University is particularly interested in the possibility how their students can apply for this transitional grant. During the info day the students who were present, were really interested and engaged in the discussion and had willingness to participate. They wanted to learn how to improve their CV, Motivation Letter skills and be more complete for the labour market. The students from the technical faculty informed me that they had difficulty finding internships in the Mechanical engineering field.

Main topics of discussions for the student were:

• When will the application forms be available?
• If they can participate with the Transcript of records, because they will have a printed diploma next year?
• Deadlines and how to acquire the necessary documentation (from the faculty)?
• If the students can apply in the last year of their studies even if they have not finished their bachelor degree?
• If students from other years can join the career days?
• If students who finished 1 year ago can apply?

This was a productive discussion, because it became clear at first-hand info on why the students are interested in internships and training courses for improvement of their CV and Motivational letters.
