The winners of the award 2016 are:

1. Nicole Schwabe (Bielefeld University) with her thesis "Chilenische Studierendenbewegung 2011-2015 und die Konstruktion der Gegen-Hegemonie“ (Article by Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, Chile)

2. Rosa Lynn Grave (University of Hildesheim) with her thesis "Motivation und Weltverständnis von Bildungspraktiker/-innen in Afrika und Asien“.

The awards were honoured on the occasion of WUS-Jahresversammlung on 4 November 2016 in Kassel.
