Description of the Organization

CRISP organizes seminars, advanced trainings and workshops in the fields of civil conflict management and civic education. Our guiding principle is to adjust our projects to local needs. Therefor we develop and use especially simulation games as method. The work of CRISP promotes the confidence building between different population groups and enhance the understanding of political processes. Thereby we support the transformations in our target regions. We work especially with young people, who are willing to initiate and accompany a peaceful change in their societies.

Description of the Organization

Over 25 years ago, the ‘One World in School’ project was launched. Since then, the project has been meeting its goal to introduce tried and tested teaching material that promote a positive attitude towards children and peoples , if possible, in all primary and secondary schools by means of different measures. Our main efforts are divided into four tasks, which have proven to be the cornerstones of our work to actively support teachers:

  1. The magazine Eine Welt in der Schule (one world in school)
  2. Material lending
  3. The website
  4. Our teacher-training sessions
