Description of the Organization

CRISP organizes seminars, advanced trainings and workshops in the fields of civil conflict management and civic education. Our guiding principle is to adjust our projects to local needs. Therefor we develop and use especially simulation games as method. The work of CRISP promotes the confidence building between different population groups and enhance the understanding of political processes. Thereby we support the transformations in our target regions. We work especially with young people, who are willing to initiate and accompany a peaceful change in their societies.

exilio consists of a group of volunteers, all with different professional backgrounds coming together in order to help survivors of torture and asylum seekers in need. exilio was founded in 1995 and is a recognised non-profit making organisation and has offical recognition as a charity. exilio is a member of a nationwide association for the psychological and social welfare of refugees and victims of torture and a recognised charity in Bavaria.

Nektarina Non Profit is international non-profit organization dedicated to educating, connecting and inspiring people to care about their communities and their environment. Our work focuses on education in the following areas:

  • Citizen engagement and public participation – transparency in decision making
  • Enhancing collaborative practices and developing public cultural spaces
  • Human rights; particularly the rights of children and youth, women’s rights, the rights of minorities and Roma inclusion
  • Freedom of artistic expression, and usage of art in highlighting current political, social and environmental issues
  • Building a common future for environmental sustainability
  • Enancing co-operatives and the usage of renewable energy sources
  • Climate mitigation and climate adaptation, both on a global and local level

By providing comprehensive education and vocational training, Don Bosco Mondo e. V. particularly supports disadvantaged children and adolescents in Africa, Asia, Latin America, ond Eostern Europe, enabling them to live independent lives.

Our reliable partners in this endeavour are the Salesians of Don Bosco. With over 7000 children and youth centres in more than 130 countries. Don Bosco provides young people with knowledge, skills, and orientation. The "Don-Bosco Pedagogy" is synonymous for loving care and professional support. lt does not only help young people to develop confidence in their own capabilities, but also conveys values as creativity, team spirit, tolerance, and respect. Our new name is meant to emphasise our commitment to this One World and the global responsibility that connects us here in Germany with people across the world."

The German Middle East Studies Association for Contemporary Research and Documentation (DAVO) is a scholarly, nonpolitical and nonprofit-making professional association open to all persons interested in the Middle East. The main aim of DAVO is to improve the exchange of information on Middle East studies between its members.

Middle East studies include disciplines relevant to the study of an area comprising all Arab states and territories, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, the Muslim states of the former USSR and Israel, as well as the impact of this region on the development of other parts of the world.
